20ʼs - 30ʼs
Parklands 20ʼs and 30ʼs Group does exactly what it says on the tin! Designed for people who have left student life behind.. (well perhaps!!) and are now trying to cope with the
responsibilities of having a “real” life (job, mortgage, family etc), we aim to support one another through friendship and prayer. Offering a mixture of social and spiritual input, the group meets fortnightly.
Just Men
Just Men provides an opportunity for men to get away from the pressures of daily life and to meet together once a month to enjoy activities, conversation and mutual support. We
are Christian men who believe our faith makes life make sense and are willing to share it with those who ask but donʼt force it on anyone.
Seniors Work
Luncheon Club - which meets on a Wednesday at 12.00 is a popular activity for the “Born-earlyʼs”, the majority of whom live on their own. In congenial surroundings, there are
opportunities for fellowship, good food and a chance to meet with others in a caring Christian atmosphere. The meals are varied, the fellowship friendly, and its always concluded with a “Thought for the Day”.
Ladies Fellowship
Meets on Tuesday afternoons at 2.30pm itʼs open to ladies of all ages to meet together for bible studies, talks, musical evenings, videos, missionary talks, quiz evenings and visits from ladies groups from other churches, etc. We offer plenty of opportunity for forming friendships and fellowship over light refreshments at the end of each meeting.
Tea & Talk
Another activity for our “born-earlyʼs”. Tea & Talk happens on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 3.30pm, some of our more “mature” members get together over afternoon tea to
chat and get to know each other better. There are also different speakers coming along to talk about various subjects. A great opportunity to relax and make friends.
Causeway Prospects
Causeway is our group at Parklands who meet especially for those with learning difficulties. It is an opportunity to get together, sing, laugh and learn about Jesus in a
friendly and welcoming setting. Causeway meet on the last Sunday of each month at 3.00pm.
