MIKE ADAMS

Senior Leader

Mike comes from “over the bridge” – not the River Severn but the River Lougher. He was brought up in Llanelli as a Welsh speaker and has been part of Parklands Church Leadership since 2020. In January 2026, Mike became Senior Leader. He is passionate about seeing the church fully express all that it is meant to be in the 21st century, with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures finding a place of Safety, Equipping, and Adventure in their walk with God. Above all, he desires that he and the church would put a smile on God’s face. Mike has three grown-up children from his first wife, who sadly passed away. He is now married to Sarah, and they live in Sketty Park.

FIONA CURSITER

Assistant Senior Leader

Fiona is originally from Wiltshire and she is soon to be married to Alex. They are excited for the new season ahead with God. Fiona’s role as Assistant Leader is to support Mike and the Elders in the discipleship and wellbeing of the church family. She also leads and supports the pastoral ministry team. Fiona loves to be outdoors with a good coffee and a view!

SARAH PRICE

Kids Ministry Lead & Operations Coordinator

Sarah came to Parklands in January 2020 with her husband James and three children. Sarah has a massive heart for children, she is passionate about equipping them to be disciple makers, and to wholeheartedly value their role within church. She also has a love for organisation and brings both structure and imagination to the heart of every project. Sarah loves being with her family, and days at the beach are her absolute favourite, whatever the weather!

NAOMI JOHNSTON

Children’s Ministry Outreach Coordinator

Naomi is from Cardiff, where she lived and worked for another church before marrying Mark and moving to Swansea. They are currently setting up their first home together. Naomi’s primary role is building relationships with our local schools and supporting Children’s Outreach Events, as well as working alongside the Children’s Ministry team. Naomi really enjoys playing hockey – although she hasn’t yet made it to any training since moving. But she will soon!

PHOEBE BESSANT

Youth Leader

Phoebe is from Llanelli and loves all things creative and adventurous. She’s been married to Ieuan for six years, and they enjoy visiting boujee coffee shops and going on long walks. Phoebe also works for Alpha, overseeing Alpha Youth in Wales.

ANDY O'MALLEY

He is a father to two boys and loves to take long walks in nature, where he listens and chats to God. Andy is passionate about walking alongside young people as they grow in their faith with God, helping them discover who they are created to be.
