Youth are a big part of our Church’s community and we want to embrace this generation in all we do.

In Paul’s letter to his protégée Timothy, he gives this encouragement “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Tim 4:12).

This is our vision for the Youth of Parklands Church.

On Sunday mornings around halfway through the service, the youth ages 11-14 (school years 7-9) leave the service with a few youth leaders to hang out together, play games, have fun, read the Bible, and talk about God, Christianity, and life. Got questions?

A chilled-out evening where young people ages 15-18 (school years 10 – 13) can get together, have a laugh, play some games, and learn more about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Being a teenager is not easy, but we believe that talking about it, sharing common struggles and encouraging each other in community through prayer and Bible study, can help us grow in relationship with Jesus, who gives us peace in every situation.

A fun packed evening where youth of all ages (school year 7–13) are welcome to come and join us playing games, hanging out and learning about Jesus. There will be a mix of group games altogether and plenty of free time where youth can play or hang out, with a short little talk about the life with Jesus and how that practically applied to the youth of today.
